Quick answers
How do I restore a purchased counting system?
Open the app → tap the menu icon (top right) → select Unlock All or the individual system you purchased → tap Restore Purchases. This reconnects your Google Play account and re-activates any paid systems. If the issue persists, email us with your Google Play order number.
The count or true count looks wrong — what should I check?
First, check the Decks Remaining slider — if it's set too low, the true count will be inflated. Next, verify you have the correct counting system selected (Hi-Lo, KO, etc.) since tag values differ between systems. For unbalanced systems like KO and ReKO, true count is not displayed — this is expected behaviour.
Why is my blackjack edge showing as negative?
A negative edge means the house currently has the advantage — this is normal when the true count is below +1. The baseline house edge on a 6-deck S17 game is roughly −0.46% with perfect basic strategy. As the true count rises above +1, the edge shifts in your favour. The app calculates this live based on your true count and the table rules you have configured.
Is the app compatible with my Android version?
Blackjack Counter requires Android 7.0 (API 24) or later. It targets Android 15 (API 36) and is optimised for modern devices. If you are experiencing issues on a supported version, please email us with your device model and Android version.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes. The entire app runs locally on your device — no internet connection is required to count cards, access strategy charts, or use any feature. An internet connection is only needed when making in-app purchases through Google Play.
Where can I leave a review or rating?
Reviews on Google Play are hugely appreciated and help other players discover the app. You can leave one directly on the Google Play listing. If you have a problem, please email us first — we want the chance to fix it before it becomes a review.
